Epigenetics, Safety Pins, and the Science of A-D-I-O

The new science of epigenetics emphasizes a profoundly important conclusion: Environmental signals control behavior and genetic activity.

The nervous system is the information processor that links the environmental signals with the 50-trillion cells comprising the body. Only 1% of dis-ease is attributed to defects in genetics, consequently, the remaining 90+% of dis-ease is attributable to the environment and our nervous system’s perception of the environment. Behavioral epigenetics, the new field of how mind and nervous system shape genetics, is the bridge that closes the A-D-I-O Safety Pin and makes the Chiropractic philosophical model a scientific reality.
