Neurology for Chiropractors

This lecture will introduce you to a functional approach to neurological lesions. Dr. Carrick will use real patient scenarios and show you how a functional neurologist chiropractor can look at dysfunction in a new way. The participant will interact in case study and treatment paradigms including tauopathy, alphasynucleinopathy, chronic traumatic encephalopathy, super-nuclear palsy, stroke and movement disorders, and concussion. By reviewing diagnostic and therapeutic advances in neurological disorders and looking at other indicator such as eye movement and disorders of position, gait and stance, you will understand how evidence based neuro-rehabilitation can fit into your practice model.
